Music Tonight – Michael Viens & Guests

Micheal Viens is a celebrated guitarist -with both Blackthorn and its offshoot Blackthorn Blossoms. Blackthorn is a Canadian Celtic folk band formed in Vancouver in 1989, with an extensive repertoire that is rooted in the musical traditions of Scotland and Ireland, as well as the folk music of English and French Canada. Since then, the group has travelled a long road, through the streets of traditional and Celtic music, performing concerts throughout Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest.
